FIRST LETTER HOME!!

Hey Family,
LO SIENTO,(= I'm Sorry) you guys probably thought that I would reply on Monday, but my zones P-day is on Wednesday! I will write you emails and write letters on Wednesday and send them off the same day. It is weird that I have been here a week, it feels like I have been here for a couple days; time really does fly. Everyone in my zone is awesome, they are very nice and always willing to help. My zone tells me that the days are long, the weeks are short, and the months are shorter, and it is so true! I love the M.T.C. experience!!! It so amazing! I sent mom and dad a letter on Friday. I don't know if you guys got it yet or not... I am going to send the Rays, Birds, and Chante letters today because I received many letters from them :))) I love when I get letters! It brightens my day and makes we want to work harder! So keep writing me letters all the time :))) You guys are probably wondering how I am doing in my language and study! I am doing really well! I have surpassed what I learned in high school  and so much more! I can carry a good conversation in Spanish and can understand about 80 percent of what Steven tells me and what my teacher and my "investigator" tells me! It is so sweet how my answers are becoming real! Every time I pray I always include asking for the gift of tongues, to help me learn and understand Spanish! I feel the spirit telling me what to say most of the time when I talk! I will bear my testimony to you in Spanish at the end of this letter! In my prayers I pray for my family, and my friends so you guys will be watched over and protected. You guys are in every single one of my prayers! I am very thankful for a wonderful family who supports me in everything I do :) I can really feel your prayers for me, it makes the spirit so strong that I am just lifted up with joy the whole time I am here!
My companions name is Elder Huntsman, he is awesome!! The Ray's and Richardson's will like this... he is from BOISE IDAHO!!!! He went to Borah High School! We clicked on the first day! We go together like peanut butter and jelly! It is so funny that we watched the same exact TV shows, and we did the same sports! Melissa you would love to hang out with us, we talk about Duck Dynasty all the time!!!! We quote Si all the time too! Our district loves us because we are the most outgoing Elders in the whole district! "Hey if you want it done right, don't ask me" that is one of our favorite quotes to say!! It is really the complete opposite when we say that! We do everything right, we study when we need to, and are always on task! I am grateful to be raised in a family of leaders! My companion and I like to have fun, but when it is time to be serious we try to be on task as much as we can!
My President; President Claybaugh is so awesome! He tells us stories from his mission and I am just so excited to teach the people! He is a very humble man for sure! He tells us this M.T.C. experience will drive us down to our knees. It is so true! When we have hard times, we need the spirit with us or we need someone to help us we can easily go down to our knees and ask our Heavenly Father! He will help us with anything! I have asked for many things; stupid or serious, and I have received it! I know I can't do anything without my Heavenly Father! He is all powerful and can work miracles, and he works miracles through us. We are his instruments! We need to preach the gospel, and if we act righteously then we can do anything! The universe is the limit with help from our Heavenly Father!
The food here is horrible! The only thing I like is the amazing wrap bar! It is like a mini Chipotle there!!!! The food has my companion and I running to the bathroom every hour or so! However, I do like the soda fountain Matt! It is pretty good!
Mom and Dad can you please forward this message to the whole family and Chante?!!! :) Thanks for all your guys support and PLEASE keep the letters from DEARELDER.COM coming!! It really brings light to my day and it lifts me up so much! :)
